Representatives of the Department of Economic and Integration Development, Labor Management took part in the international conference "Place of Ukraine in the World: Municipal Marketing and Branding", held on March 12-13, 2019. In Kiev. The conference is organized by the Ukrainian-Canadian project Promis. Interesting panel discussions, plenary meetings and promotional products are a program of the conference.
Participants of the conference were able to get acquainted with the best Canadian and Polish experience of municipal marketing and branding.
Ukrainian cities have enormous potential to become recognizable far beyond Ukraine. To be competitive on the world market, it's not enough to be just an investment-attractive city with a high quality of life, rich history and culture. The city needs to be able to show itself, to advertise, to fall in love, intrigue, and attract. It should speak about its advantages and achievements, and its voice should be heard outside the state borders. For this purpose, marketing and branding of cities are needed - to attract the attention of potential investors and tourists.
